After studying law in Korea and in the UK, Robert joined Ellis Taylor and specialises in Property, Employment and Immigration, as well as general commercial dispute resolution. 

Professional Experience

Robert advises on legal issues arising at various stages of construction and overseas projects.  Benefiting from his early career at the power corporation, Robert is also well positioned to advise the energy industry.  He is familiar with utility trading practice and terminology, transaction types, characteristics and transmission of electricity and the construction works for power plants.

Robert handles proceedings in the High Court in London and has been involved in many international arbitrations.  He has considerable experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including alternative dispute resolution.

Robert is experienced in advising on a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters, including cross-border commercial contract disputes.  He also advises on matters relating to debt recovery, professional negligence and individuals coming to work in the UK for fixed periods from non-EU countries, including those involved in entertainment and sports, to obtain the correct credentials for the duration of their stay.

Robert is fluent in Korean and English.
